D'Angelo Russell of the Los Angeles Lakers criticized Bruce Brown of the Indiana Pacers in what apparently is a new chapter of the conflict between the two players.

Russell and Brown developed a rivalry last year, when Russell was in the Lakers while Brown was in the Nuggets. In the Western Conference Finals, the Nuggets swept the Lakers.

"He’s not the best defender, but he definitely tries," had said Brown about Russell's Conference Finals performance last year.

This time, Russell had the bragging rights as the two players went head-to-head in the NBA In-Season Tournament final game, where the Lakers beat the Pacers with a score of 123-109.

Throughout the game, Russell targeted Brown and was fouled by the Pacers forward twice.

"He was talking sh*t all year. Yeah. Talking sh*t all year..." said Russell after the game.

"Got something to say? Show me on the court. [Nikola] Jokic ain’t there next to you today. It’s different," the guard said, referencing last year when Brown and Nikola Jokic were together in the Denver Nuggets.

Russell scored 13 points, collected 4 rebounds, and dished out 7 assists in the final game versus the Pacers.
