Fenerbahce are reportedly set to part ways with head coach Dimitris Itoudis, despite two years left on his contract.

According to Basketfaul, Itoudis already mentioned his departure to players and his staff during the last training session before Fenerbahce’s game against AS Monaco.
"The management spoke to me and told me that I will leave," Itoudis said to his team, according to the Turkish source. "I likely will not be here for the match against Monaco."
He navigated Fenerbahce to the 2023 EuroLeague Playoffs, but the team stumbled against Olympiacos Piraeus in a five-game series. Fenerbahce did not win any other trophy in 2022-23.
This season, they opened the 2023-24 EuroLeague campaign with a negative 6-7 record and currently share 11th place in the standings.
On Monday, Fenerbahce faced a setback in the Turkish derby against the injury-plagued Anadolu Efes Istanbul, marking the final straw for the management's patience, as reported by SDNA. The team currently holds the second spot domestically with 8 wins and 3 losses.
Itoudis is a two-time EuroLeague champion with CSKA Moscow in 2016 and 2019 and a former Greek national team head coach.
