"Yesterday, I talked to Dimitris [Itoudis] because of the relationship I have with him. Like every coach, we are colleagues, and I am sorry that he is in this situation," Obradovic began in the press conference. "Probably now or tomorrow, I will call Saras to ask how everything is. We are friends between us, everybody. But this is how the life of a coach is. Somebody goes out, somebody takes an opportunity. This is it. Good luck to him [Saras].
"This is my ex-club [Fenerbahce]. Again, I am sorry for Dimitris. I hope he will use this time to relax and enjoy life more because our life, honestly, does not exist. This is game, travel, practice. This is how it is," he continued.
"The EuroLeague is very tough. I hope that people, watching us, understand this. Tonight, we go back [to Belgrade], and tomorrow, I will have practice at 12 in the morning. So, what to do at 12 o'clock? Just to talk a little bit, to put a video, and on Saturday, we play a very important game in our league against Buducnost. Because of this, I hope that Dimitris will enjoy life a little bit more," Obradovic concluded his monologue.
Meanwhile, with this win, Partizan temporarily climbed to the sixth position in the EuroLeague standings, having eight wins in 14 games.
