We heard what Nurkic had to say about him, right? We saw Kevin Durant call him out last night after the game. And when you think about who Draymond Green was before all these things happened, he was one of the OGs around the league."
"But let me go back to all the people that are speaking out. We heard from Nurkic, Kevin Durant, and we just heard from Mike Dunleavy [Warriors GM]. Where is Steve Kerr? Steve Kerr!
He voices his opinion about everything else, and he voices it loudly for everyone to hear. But when it comes out to Draymond Green and his actions, it seems like he shies away from the moment.
This is not the time for him to shy away from the moment. I want Steve Kerr to come out and make a statement and say, ‘Draymond is wrong! This will not be tolerated. As long as I’m the head coach here, there is a standard that they are gonna have to do. And Draymond is gonna have to show us, come back, and make sure he is locked in, and I won’t tolerate this.’ I wanna hear from Steve Kerr!" Perkins continued.
Nevertheless, Kerr spoke on the topic just before the game against the Los Angeles Clippers.
"This is not just about an outburst on the court. It's about his life. It's about someone who I believe in, someone I have known for decades, who I love for his loyalty," Kerr said. "The one who choked Rudy [Gobert], the one who took a wild flail at Jusuf, the one who punched Jordan [Poole] last year, that's the guy who needs to change."
