Morey joined the organization in 2020. Through his first three seasons, the team won an average of 51.3 games during each season.
The 51-year-old executive got into a public conflict with James Harden last summer after the player called him a liar following unsuccessful trade talks. Ultimately, Harden was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in October.
After last season, the 76ers fired head coach Doc Rivers and hired the former Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse. So far, the team has won 16 games in 23 contests and are placed 4th in the Eastern Conference.
