Over the course of three days, Jokic assumed the role of tour guide, unveiling the charms of Sombor and its picturesque surroundings to Gordon.
During a recent episode of the Knuckleheads podcast, Gordon shared some details about Jokic's life in Serbia.
"It's cool, man. Big fella gets active, man," he reminisced.
According to Gordon, Jokic's influence in Serbia exceeds basketball stardom.
"He's like the president, the mayor, the governor, the senator, whatever you want to call it out there, man. He's him," Gordon stressed.
"Sombor it's cool. It makes so much sense why he's so successful. His values line up with winning," the 28-year-old continued. "Every single day, he works on his body; every single day, he eats right, and every single day, he spends time with his family. He's just peaceful, calm, takes time to say 'Hi' to all the people. He's just a good dude through and through. It only makes sense that like a good dude is winning.
"He takes care of his people, he takes care of his town, and he's just locked in, and then he races his horses, he rides his bike through the town.
"He's a gangster here," Gordon concluded with a smile.
