In this proposed showcase, the Boomers would go up against Team USA and Serbia in mid-July in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Following these matchups, ESPN writes that the Boomers plan to head to Europe for additional warm-up games before the Olympics kick off on July 26 in Paris, France.
After securing a 10th-place finish at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, the Boomers earned an automatic qualification for the Olympics, emerging as the highest-finishing team from the Oceania region.
As of now, eight countries have already qualified for the Olympics, namely Australia, the USA, Serbia, France, Germany, Canada, South Sudan, and Japan.
The remaining four teams will be determined during the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments scheduled for the beginning of July.
