The EuroLeague double-round week kicked off on Tuesday night with an exciting lineup of games.

Starting at 19:00 CET, the league leader Real (14-1) faced a breeze on the road against Zvezda (5-10), the strong home record of which was snapped by the royalty team. Mario Hezonja stood out for Real Madrid, grabbing a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.

After that, ALBA Berlin (3-12) used a fluid offensive performance to shock the second-placed FC Barcelona (10-5). The Catalans could not rebound from their recent losses and have continued their recently weakened form.

A battle of equals took place between Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv (9-6) and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (8-7), where the Israeli team was able to overcome the Basques with a cooler presence of mind in the fourth quarter.

Perhaps one of the most exciting games in the last few weeks took place between Virtus Segafredo Bologna (11-4) and Olympiacos Piraeus (7-8). The Italian team trailed for almost the entirety of the game but was able to take the lead towards the end, thanks to an overall strong performance by Isaia Cordinier and a vintage Daniel Hackett in the fourth quarter, who celebrated his birthday with a win.

The revitalized Valencia Basket's (8-7) three-win streak was broken by Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade (9-6), which continued its spectacular form by getting its fifth win in the away game against Valencia. Kevin Punter played his best game in the EuroLeague this season, scoring 13 points and pulling 9 rebounds for a total of 25 PIR.
