With Monaco leading by 10 in the third quarter (57-47), Loyd got into a conflict with Paris' Gauthier Denis. The two players exchanged words when Loyd suddenly pushed Denis into his face with both hands.
The two players were quickly separated, but Loyd ultimately got ejected for his actions. Now, the league imposed a ban on the player.
The league announced that Loyd has already served two games out of his four-game suspension, with the two local matches against Metropolitans 92 and LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne remaining.
Additionally, tests performed in Barcelona on Tuesday determined that Loyd would be sidelined for two weeks with a back injury, L'Equipe write. Loyd has already missed the last two games both domestically and in the EuroLeague. He's now set to be out at least until the New Year.
