According to the club's information, in the early morning hours of Saturday, Lessort was transferred to a medical centre in order to find out whether he had sustained a serious injury. The results were encouraging, as they didn't reveal any bone fracture or muscle tear. However, Lessort can barely walk and is still experiencing pain.
His participation in Panathinaikos' Greek league contest against Promitheas in Patras on Sunday afternoon (19:15 CET) has been ruled out and it remains to be seen whether he'll be at Ergin Ataman's disposal for the upcoming EuroLeague outing against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade next Thursday at a soldout OAKA arena.
After their win in Milan, Panathinaikos rank 4th in the standings with a 9-7 balance after the first 16 Rounds.
