And even though they're still in playoff contention, several veteran players have reiterated that the team needs to bounce back and improve.

That was the 8th loss in the last 11 outings for Phoenix, and Gordon vented out his frustration in his postgame statements to Bleacher Report.
"Early on in the season, it was better," the 34-year-old veteran said. "And lately, there just hasn't been an emphasis [to get me more looks]. So, it's definitely different. Lately I haven't been getting any touches really."
Gordon went 1/7 from the field in 29 minutes in the loss at Portland on Tuesday. Although Suns head coach Frank Vogel recognized the team needs to utilize Gordon's shooting skills, the player himself intends to talk to the coach to figure out how he can best fit into the squad's offensive flow.
"Everybody knows the type of player I am and what I'm about. I came here to win, but what I do is score," Gordon told B/R. "And I think when I score, it really opens up the door for a lot of people because I can score in big games and in big ways. That's just what it is."
"I got to keep moving the pieces around in terms of how we're using certain guys," Vogel admitted. "Can we get Eric Gordon more involved than I'm doing? I'm not doing a good enough job in making sure he's involved in the offense. He's a guy that can really help us."
Gordon is in his 16th NBA season and he said he'd never been in a situation like that.
"It's definitely a lot different than what I kind of expected. We go from winning seven in a row early on in the season and now we've lost eight out of 11," Gordon continued. "So, it's just tough with the type of team that we have. We just have to figure out the different sacrifices that we need to try to win a game."
The Suns have a tough Christmas Day showdown coming, as they face the Dallas Mavericks in Phoenix.
