Los Angeles Lakers guard Gabe Vincent will undergo arthroscopic surgery after it was strongly alleged that he was considering such an operation.

Gabe Vincent of the Los Angeles Lakers is going to receive arthroscopic surgery following previous reports that he was considering the operation.

According to Shams Chanaria of The Athletic, the guard will miss 6-to-8 weeks after the surgery. It is his left knee in which he suffered the injury.

Previously, the guard was hopeful that rehabilitation, which he has been in for the last 2 months, would help him to recover.

Unfortunately, it appears that arthroscopic surgery is necessary for him to make his return after swelling was noticed in his left knee.

Appearing in just 5 games this season, the guard has averaged 5.4 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists per game.
