In addition to the defeat in Zadar, already the fourth this season in the ABA League season, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade also have to deal with injury issues.

Alen Smailagic sprained his ankle, while PJ Dozier slipped and apparently injured his knee.

According to unofficial information from Mozzart Sport, Dozier will apparently be ready for Thursday's match against Virtus Segafredo Bologna for EuroLeague Round 17.

However, Smailagic's condition looks more serious due to an ankle distortion. Although a similar thing happened to Ognjen Jaramaz 15 days ago), a break is needed, and therefore it would not be a surprise if the Serbian big man didn't make the cut. Smailagic already rested this season due to minor injuries, but he also knew to play at his own risk despite the problems.

Partizan have been missing Aleksa Avramovic and Uros Trifinovic, whose rehabilitation is progressing positively.

On the other hand, Jaleen Smith's debut will have to wait. The American guard with the Croatian passport is expected to arrive in Belgrade this Tuesday, but his first appearance with Partizan is pending until January 2nd, when Partizan are facing ASVEL. Smith played the first part of the EuroLeague season with Virtus and is hence ineligible to participate in the competition with a different team until Round 18.
