In December, he got sidelined with yet another ankle injury.
It was initially projected for the player to be out for two months. Partizan held an annual cocktail party on Tuesday, where the 29-year-old guard shared his current status.
"Well, my leg is fine. I started walking a week ago. It was painful in that first period. Thank God, I don't have any vital damage. I will be on the court soon," he said. "When that will be, it also depends on the medical team and doctors led by Momcilo Jakovljevic, and conditioning coach Predrag Zimonjic. I hope to be on the court soon."
Despite his multiple injuries, the lost EuroLeague playoff series, lost 2023 FIBA World Cup final, and the recent struggles, Avramovic said he wouldn't change a thing.
"I wouldn't change anything, and I would like to repeat the same course in 2024 so that, God willing, everything will be in the best possible order," he concluded.
