The Italian team announced that Shields suffered a muscle injury and will be sidelined for at least 2 weeks.

Shields has been averaging 16.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 17.8 PIR per game in 16 EuroLeague appearances for Olimpia Milan this season.

Shields joins Giampaolo Ricci, Maodo Lo, and Nikola Mirotic, who are also sidelined with injuries. Meanwhile, Kevin Pangos is not involved in Olimpia Milan's games.
