"It is a new project in which Roger Grimau is our reference point, and continues to be," the EuroLeague legend said.
"He is doing a great job and it is not easy. We already know what it is to play for this club and for that jersey which demands a lot. We are aware that he is trying to do everything so that the team flows as it did at the beginning of the season," Navarro continued.
"We trust him, the project and the players that we have and we believe that we must give a better picture," said the Catalan executive.
Navarro remembers that "the first part of the season was very good. Even above our expectations. Therefore, we have shown that we can beat any team."
The downturn has come in December, a month in which the team has taken a notable step back.
"It is true that this December there have been defeats and, due to the nature of some defeats, there are some things we have to change. There have been attitudes on and off the court that we don't like, and which are not worthy of this club and this jersey," the 43-year-old pointed out.
"There are things that have already been discussed and that will not happen again. All players must take a step forward to change this dynamic," said Navarro without specifying which players his words were intended for.
Navarro assured that those responsible for the section have spoken with the team to try to straighten its course.
"Everything has been discussed, there is very good communication with the aim of not repeating things that have gone wrong and for people to trust again in what they can do well."
He believes that the players are aware of the situation and asked Barca fans to pack the Palau Blaugrana in the upcoming games, starting from the derby against Real Madrid for EuroLeague Round 18.
"I am sure that the team will win these games, starting with Madrid, which is key in a start to the new year. We are on time to achieve everything," he concluded.
