Le Progres indicates that this decision was partly influenced by the anticipated challenge of filling the new 12,000-seat hall for these specific matches.
ASVEL's official website also confirms this change, with the ticket office for the Zalgiris game on Thursday stating that the match will be held at the Astroballe.
Apart from the encounters with Zalgiris and ALBA, the French club assured L'Equipe that no other games initially planned at the LDLC Arena will be subject to a similar venue change this season.
ASVEL currently find themselves at the bottom of the EuroLeague standings, having secured victory only twice in 17 games, including a string of nine consecutive losses. Additionally, the team has not won a EuroLeague home game since January 26, 2023.
