Howard will play for the Strong Group, a Philippine team that plays in the Dubai International Basketball Championship mini-tournament.

After spending the last season in Taiwan, Dwight Howard is trying to pursue a return to the NBA. In the meantime, he will play for a Philippine team.

According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, Howard plans to sign with Strong Group, a team that plays in the Dubai International Basketball Championship.

The Dubai International Basketball Championship is a mini-tournament that takes place in Dubai, UAE, on January 19th through January 28th, 2024. Strong Group is an annual participant in the competition.

Last year, Howard played for the Taoyuan Leopard in the Taiwanese T1 League, where he averaged23.2 points with a 57.7% 2-point shooting accuracy, 16.2 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.2 blocked shots.
