Kuminga not being featured in Golden State's loss against the Nuggets was reportedly the last straw for the player's camp. Meanwhile, Moses Moody is unhappy with the inconsistency and lack of a role on the team, as well.

Despite beginning the game in the starting five and having a solid performance, Jonathan Kuminga didn't play in the last 17 minutes of the Golden State Warriors' loss against the Denver Nuggets.

"It was the straw that broke the camel’s back," a source close to Kuminga told The Athletic. According to Anthony Slater and Shams Charania from The Athletic, the player's camp no longer believes that Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will allow Kuminga to reach his full potential.

Kuminga had 16 points on 5-for-7 shooting, alongside four rebounds and four assists in 19 minutes. He had the highest plus-minus in the entire squad. Despite that, he was sitting on the bench when the team was losing the game.

Kerr praised Kuminga after the game but said it didn't feel right substituting him in the fourth quarter after a long time of him sitting on the bench due to the game's flow.

At the same time, another player - Moses Moody - is reportedly frustrated with his role on the roster as well. The 2021 14th overall pick was once again registered for the game but didn't show up on the court due to the coach's decision. It was the third such time in a row.

According to Jason Dumas from KRON4 News, the player's camp doesn't like the inconsistency and lack of a role on the roster. Moody, despite being young and talented, is sometimes placed in the position of a sacrificial lamb, the reporter states.

Moody has been averaging 8.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 18 minutes of playing time this season. Meanwhile, Kuminga is registering 12.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 22.1 minutes per game.
