The French organization officially announced that Pozzecco had been dismissed.

With Pozzecco under the helm, ASVEL earned all three of their victories in this EuroLeague season, with the last victory coming against Zalgiris Kaunas on Thursday. Two of the three wins came against Zalgiris.

One of Pozzecco's assistants - Pierric Poupet- will take over as head coach throughout the remainder of the season, the team announced.

The club also stated that Edoardo Casalone and Joseph Gomis will act as assistant coaches, while Karim Atamna will act as a player development coach.

The organization recently transferred to the newly-opened LDLC Arena but had to move two EuroLeague games to the old Astroballe venue due to reported difficulties filling the stands.

With just 3 wins and 16 losses, ASVEL sit in 17th place in the EuroLeague standings, sharing it with ALBA Berlin.
