"Most likely, we will go to the tournament in Abu Dhabi. We will play the first game with Australia there and the second with the USA. They sent us an offer to sign the contract, the conditions we got there were fantastic. Now, the Federation needs to confirm it with them," Pesic said.
"We are most likely going there. We're playing the French on Tony Parker's farewell, that's on July 12, before we play in Abu Dhabi. We are in Abu Dhabi on July 15, 16, and 17, and we are playing with the French in Lyon. That's it for now," the veteran specialist shared.
Team USA suffered three defeats in the 2023 FIBA World Cup and finished the tournament fourth, marking a second consecutive non-podium finish at the FIBA World Cup. The US qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as the second-best team from the Americas.
