To kick off the action, Fenerbahce, riding high after last week's record-breaking win over Maccabi, maintained its momentum against Partizan. Sarunas Jasikevicius' squad went from minus 17 in the second quarter to a 15-point win over his mentor Zeljko Obradovic.
Next, Monaco handed Baskonia their fifth loss in the last seven games thanks to an outstanding performance by Mike James, who finished with 26 points and seven assists.
Meanwhile, Bayern, under Pablo Laso's guidance, could not boost its playoff hopes against former club Real. The trio of Poirier, Hezonja, and Musa combined for 51 points for the winners.
Following that, the theme of iconic coaches facing their former teams continued as Panathinaikos and coach Ergin Ataman defeated Anadolu Efes. Marius Grigonis drained a career-high 7 three-pointers in 9 attempts and accumulated a game-high 24 points. Efes lost for the seventh time in a row.
In addition, Milan achieved a third consecutive home win against ALBA, which has yet to secure a road victory this season. Shabazz Napier had 13 points and five assists.
In another matchup, new ASVEL boss Pierric Poupet made a winning start against a Zvezda team, which achieved impressive triumphs over Fenerbahce and Partizan last week. Paris Lee dropped 23 points for the winners.
Lastly, Zalgiris stunned Valencia behind a great performance by Keenan Evans, who had 24 points, including a couple of clutch treys.
