Wemby's San Antonio Spurs will be one of the two teams in the game, and although the deal hasn't been finalized yet, the team has agreed in principle to participate, Vardon reports.
After getting drafted first overall last summer, Wembanyama is making a strong case to become the Rookie of the Year. The 20-year-old French phenom is averaging a double-double in his first season in the NBA, registering 19.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 3.3 blocks per game.
Wembanyama's Spurs, however, are at the bottom of the Western Conference with just 5 wins and 30 losses, marking the second-worst record in the league, only behind the Detroit Pistons.
