Despite their victory against Valencia Basket in the EuroLeague Round 20 on Tuesday night, the Lithuanian champions encountered a minor issue when attempting to fly to Barcelona for their upcoming EuroLeague game against FC Barcelona on Friday.
The team arrived at the airport at noon and initially boarded the plane, only to leave it after an hour and a half of waiting.
The cause? A computer failure on the aircraft.
Back at the airport terminal, the Zalgiris players and staff enjoyed lunch while awaiting the arrival of new aircraft parts.
If all goes as planned, the repairs will take 2-3 hours, allowing the team to resume their journey to Barcelona on Wednesday evening.
