EA7 Emporio Armani Milan have officially welcomed Rodney McGruder, securing his talents until the end of the 2023-24 season.

The 32-year-old shooting guard brings a wealth of experience from his seven-year stint in the NBA. Having previously donned jerseys for the Miami Heat (2016-19), Los Angeles Clippers (2019-20), and the Detroit Pistons (2020-23), McGruder now ventures into the EuroLeague for the first time.

His extensive NBA career includes 317 regular-season games and nine playoff appearances.

He has NBA career averages of 5.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.2 assists.

Interestingly, this marks McGruder's second time playing on the European continent, the first being with Hungarian side Atomeromu SE during the 2013-14 campaign. The latter stint followed his departure from Kansas State University and marked his inaugural season as a professional player.

McGruder follows the footsteps of another former NBA player, Shabazz Napier, in making a mid-season transfer to join Milan.
