Marcus Eriksson and ALBA Berlin agreed to a contract termination, as the Swedish international wanted to continue his rehab in Sweden.

ALBA Berlin announced that the club terminated the contract with Marcus Eriksson.

The German club announced that Eriksson wanted to continue his rehab process in Sweden. Therefore, both parties agreed to a contract termination.

The current contract was valid until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Eriksson played his last EuroLeague game in January 2022 against Real Madrid. Since then, the Swedish international has been plagued with various injuries.

Eriksson joined ALBA from Herbalife Gran Canaria in 2019.

In the 2021-22 season, Eriksson averaged 12.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 11.1 PIR per game in 13 EuroLeague appearances for ALBA.
