After decades of following the same format, the NBA is set to change how the draft is being run.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski from ESPN, the NBA draft will now be a two-day event, starting with the 2024 NBA Draft. Although the move is not final yet, it is almost certain that it will take place.

The 2024 NBA Draft will take place on June 26 and 27 in Brooklyn, with the first-round picks being selected on Wednesday, June 26, while second-round picks will be made on Thursday, June 27.

The NBA Draft has consisted of two rounds since 1989. High school players have not been allowed to be drafted since 2006 after the league implemented the so-called 'one-and-done' rule.

Three European prospects are being projected to go in the top five in the upcoming draft.
