Former Serbian player and coach Dejan Milojevic, 46, passed away after reportedly suffering a heart attack on Wednesday.

As a coach, Milojevic won the Serbian Cup in 2016 with Mega MIS Belgrade, a team that he was with from 2012 to 2020.
He also won the Montenegrin League and the Montenegrin Cup in 2021 during a brief stint with Buducnost VOLI Podgorica, from where he catapulted himself to the NBA with the Golden State Warriors.
In the meantime, he acted as an assistant to coach Igor Kokoskov in the Serbian national team between 2019 and 2021.
Milojevic became an NBA Champion in the 2021-22 season with the Warriors.
Before his coaching career, he was a renowned Serbian basketball player who played for teams such as Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, Buducnost, and Galatasaray EKMAS Istanbul.
He received MVP accolades three times, consecutively, in the ABA League. He was also named to the All-Europe Second Team in 2004.
Milojevic also had stints with his national team, becoming EuroBasket champions in 2001 and ranking 9th in EuroBasket 2005.
