Miami Heat mainstay Udonis Haslem had his jersey retired by the team.

Haslem served the Miami Heat between 2003 and 2023. He did not play for any other team after or during his Heat career. Only before, he had a brief stint with French team Elan Chalon in the 2002-03 season.
The player was actually not picked when he entered the 2002 NBA Draft. Regardless, he still went on to have a major impact on the Heat, becoming its captain with the 2007-08 season and continuing until his retirement last year.
He also won the NBA three times with the Heat, in 2006, 2012, and 2013. In addition, he was picked to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team in 2004.
Haslem will continue to serve the Heat even after his retirement, as he was appointed vice president of basketball development by the club.
Throughout his NBA career, he held regular season averages of 7.5 points and 6.6 rebounds on 48.9% field goal shooting.
