The Los Angeles Lakers have been on a rough patch lately, losing 6 of their last 10 games.

Particularly, today's loss to the Brooklyn Nets, at home court, with a blowout score of 112-130, was disheartening for the team.

Speaking of the Lakers' currently weak form, head coach Darvin Ham had the following to say.

"It's over for the excuses, man. We got to play basketball," the coach said bluntly. "We just have to decide which team we're gonna be," Ham stated, aiming to give a message to his players.

Previously, it was also reported that Ham was having trouble maintaining support from the Lakers players.

The latest loss to the Nets reflected a small trend in the Lakers' tendency to lose by double digits. Lastly, they lost with a 20-point difference to the New Orleans Pelicans, a 14-point difference to the Miami Heat, another 14-point loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, and an 18-point difference to the Phoenix Suns.

At the moment, the Lakers have a record of 21-22, and they find themselves at the edge of the play-ins contention, holding the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference. On the other hand, the Brooklyn Nets currently sit in the 11th position with a record of 17-24 in the Western Conference.
