Teammates assisted Haliburton off the court, and an MRI the following day confirmed the diagnosis of a strained hamstring.
Haliburton will be sitting out the initial three games of Indiana's four-game homestand this week, with the possibility of missing all four. The Pacers lost to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday.
Haliburton leads the Pacers in scoring with 23.6 points per game and leads the NBA in assists with 12.6 per game. He made his first All-Star appearance last season.
