Doc Rivers may be bringing along former acquaintance Dave Joerger in his move to the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Dave Joerger, who worked with Rivers in the Philadelphia 76ers between 2020 and 2023, may rejoin his colleague in the Bucks.

Previously, Joerger also acted as the head coach of the Memphis Grizzlies and the Sacramento Kings in 2013-2016 and 2016-2019, respectively.

As Rivers, Joerger has not been in a coaching role since the end of the 2022-23 season, as he was sent away alongside Doc Rivers from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Joerger has acted as a consultant to J. B. Bickerstaff of the Cleveland Cavaliers since October 2023, though his role and time spent with the team are unclear.
