After a tough loss against ALBA Berlin in EuroLeague Round 23, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade are preparing for another crucial matchup this Sunday. They are set to host their eternal rivals, Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade, in the 18th round of the ABA League.

This game could prove decisive in the battle for the top spot in the league table, with the clash scheduled for Sunday at 19:00 CET.

Adding a positive twist for the hosts, Milos Teodosic is poised to make a comeback after missing the last four Zvezda games on both fronts.

"Milos Teodosic will train on Saturday, and I think he will be ready like the rest of the guys," coach Ioannis Sfairopoulos said ahead of the derby game.

Without Teodosic, Red Star won against Borac and FMP Beograd in the ABA League but lost both times in the EuroLeague against Baskonia and ALBA.

The 36-year-old veteran guard was recovering from a thigh injury.

Crvena Zvezda currently hold the top ABA League position with a 15-2 record, while Partizan trail closely with two fewer victories at 13-4.

The first ABA League derby of this season was won by Partizan 98-87.
