Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade secured a narrow 88-86 victory over Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in a nail-biting ABA League derby on Sunday night, bouncing back from their unexpected EuroLeague Round 23 defeat to ALBA Berlin.

Looking ahead, Zvezda are now gearing up for crucial EuroLeague clashes with two Spanish teams set to visit the Serbian capital this week.

Red Star is slated to face Valencia Basket on Tuesday and FC Barcelona on Friday.

"Very important [games]," Milos Teodosic said of the upcoming EuroLeague matches, via Mozzart Sport. "I believe we haven't lost our chances for the Top 10 yet. I believe there is a chance, and everything depends on us.

"If we play and commit like we did tonight [vs. Partizan], excluding the last five minutes, where there were mistakes, I believe it will all depend on us. I believe we have a chance," the veteran guard added, as Zvezda have a 9-14 EuroLeague record and share 13th place with Anadolu Efes and Bayern. They are three wins away from the 10th spot.

Teodosic also evaluated how the team reacted after the loss to ALBA.

"When you lose such games, you have to go out on the court and die because if you don't do it, you won't leave the house for five days. It wasn't too difficult to recover after ALBA," Teodosic noted.

Lastly, he reflected on his return to the court after recovering from a thigh injury that sidelined him for four games.

"The most important thing is that we won. We should forget what happened and shift our focus to Valencia."
