Anthony Edwards slams referees after win vs. Thunder / News - Basketnews.com

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards was heard saying 'Cheatin' ass refs' to his teammates. He also said he's ready to take the fine after criticizing officials in his post-game comment.

Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards had some harsh words for the referees following a 107-101 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"I don't know how we did it [won]. Imma take a fine because the refs did not give us no calls tonight," Edwards said in the post-game comment. "We had to play through every bump, every grab. I don't know how we won tonight. Big shout out to my team and coaches."

Moments after the game finished, Edwards used even harsher words towards the refs, while talking to his teammates.

"Cheatin' ass refs," Edwards said.

Edwards finished the game with 27 points (10/20 FG, 3/5 3PT, 4/4 FT), 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 4 turnovers.

During the game, Timberwolves made 13 of 15 free throws, while the Thunder converted 17 of 22 shots from the stripe.

After tonight's win, the Timberwolves improved to 33-14 and climbed to the 1st seed in the Western Conference.
