Multiple NBA teams have changed owners in recent years. Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal would like to become a team owner as well.

Shaq visited the iConnections Global Alts conference in Miami Beach recently, where he was asked about it.

"I would definitely like to," O'Neal told Bloomberg. "Whatever team is available."

Recently, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been acquired by a new ownership, headlined by former MLB superstar Alex Rodriguez. Additionally, the Phoenix Suns were sold to Matt Ishbia in early 2023.

O'Neal has previously expressed interest in becoming an owner of a Las Vegas NBA franchise.

In addition to his interest in the NBA, Shaq would like to be involved in investing in F1 racing, "even though I can’t fit in one of those damn cars," in O'Neal's words.
