Edwards has received a $40 thousand fine for his statements after yesterday's Oklahoma City Thunder-Minnesota Timberwolves game, announced the NBA.

The American was clear about his criticisms in his post-game remarks, having won the match 101-107.

"I don't know, Imma take the fine because the refs did not give us no calls tonight. We had to play through every bump, every grab... I don't know, I don't know how we won tonight. Big shout out to my team, my coaches for sure," he said.

Edwards was previously critical of referee calls in another OKC-Wolves game.
