Five Zalgiris players - Laurynas Birutis, Edgaras Ulanovas, Lukas Lekavicius, Tomas Dimsa, and Dovydas Giedraitis - have been called up to represent Lithuania in the upcoming EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers games against Poland and Estonia at the end of February.

Arnas Butkevicius, who would otherwise qualify for the national team as well, will use the time off to further heal and improve his physical condition after a foot injury that had sidelined him for multiple weeks recently, Lukas Malinauskas from BasketNews.lt reports.

The seventh Lithuanian on the regular roster, Danielius Lavrinovicius, was not called up to the national team.

Meanwhile, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade's Rokas Giedraitis said in a recent interview that he would also represent the national team during the window.

Lithuania is in Group H in EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers together with Estonia, Poland, and North Macedonia.
