Rumors about Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James getting traded surfaced on Friday. The player's agent has responded.

David Pingalore from KTLA 5 News reported that Lakers' GM Rob Pelinka is looking for the right team to perform a trade, shipping James from Los Angeles. The report got traction due to Pingalore's previous track record of announcing big trades before they happened.

LeBron's agent, Rich Paul, denied the report, however.

"LeBron won't be traded, and we aren't asking to be," he said via Brian Windhorst from ESPN.

James is currently in his 21st season in the NBA, averaging 24.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game.

LeBron missed last night's game against the Boston Celtics. Without him and Anthony Davis, the Lakers beat the Celtics nevertheless.
