NBA legend Charles Barkley criticized certain players for being dismissive of the 65-game rule for post-season awards.

"These players got nobody to blame but themselves... The Players' Association signed off on the deal. It's a fair rule," Barkley said, going against some of the criticism leveled towards the rule.
"These fans, get to see these guys one time a year," Barkley stated. "They are paying all these monies for tickets... These guys are making 34 to 56 million dollars, they need to play," Barkley explained further.
"I thought it should've been 70 [games]," he stated ultimately, voicing a desire to make the rule even harsher.
Recently, the possibility of removing the rule was voiced by players such as Tyrese Haliburton and Joel Embiid.
