Grigonis started the game in a dominant manner and finished the contest with 15 points and 19 PIR in his account. Kendrick Nunn, meanwhile, played his best game in the EuroLeague since arriving in Athens, scoring 26 points for 21 PIR.
Despite the two top performances, Panathinaikos lost their second game in the last three matches. Head coach Ergin Ataman was not happy with the squad's physicality, Grigonis revealed.
"He was talking [that] if we want to be a championship-contending team, we have to also win away games and be [the] same [and play as] physical as we do at home," Grigonis told Georgios Zakkas from SDNA. "He's not lying. That's the right attitude, we have to do this, but today, we didn't."
With 15 wins and 10 losses, Panathinaikos are currently in 4th place in the EuroLeague standings.
