Jamal Murray is widely regarded as one of the best point guards in the league. However, he hasn't been named an All-Star yet. The 2023-24 season wasn't an exception.

Murray was instrumental in last year's Denver Nuggets playoff run en route to an NBA championship. This season, he's continuing his success with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game.

Murray wasn't selected for the All-Star Game, leaving Nikola Jokic without an All-Star teammate again.

"Of course," Murray said when asked whether the All-Star snub adds additional motivation. "There are multiple players in the league that should be All-Stars, you know what I'm saying? I think Fox wasn't an All-Star. Trae wasn't an All-Star. You know what I'm saying? So what do you want me to do now? I think you guys have seen me play at a pretty high level against those same guys who are All-Stars. So I just go out there, try not to take it to heart. Obviously, it is what it is."

Murray was 8th in player ranking among Western Conference guards, but just 13th in fan vote (241,708 votes) and 6th in media vote (0 votes). He wasn't selected to be an All-Star reserve as well.
