In a recent interview, the club's president, Valerio Antonini, revealed the organization's ambition is to sign a well-known player.
"We're already working for next season when we're going to be in the top division. We already have an agreement with two great players, and we're negotiating with a Serbian player who's playing in his home country but has already played in Italy," Antonini said in an interview with Il Corriere dello Sport.
Asked whether it was Milos Teodosic who would fit all the criteria, Antonini didn't deny it. "You said it, I'm sure you have already information about it," he proclaimed.
Teodosic has previously played for Virtus Segafredo Bologna and is now playing for Crvena Zvezda.
The Sharks have only one loss in 23 games in Serie A2 and boast a tremendous plus-minus of 314. The club is reportedly paying the largest salaries in the league and flying to away games in a charter plane.
