The Serbian club has officially announced that Trey Thompkins is joining the squad. The player has signed a deal to play in Belgrade for one month, with the option for an extension for an unspecified amount of time.

Thompkins last played for Zenit St Petersburg last season, averaging 8.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in the VTB United League. Before departing to Russia, Thompkins represented Real Madrid for seven seasons from 2015 until 2022.

Thompkins arrived last weekend in Belgrade, where he finalized the deal and underwent medical checks to determine whether his physical condition meets the standards of the club, knowing that the 33-year-old veteran had spent the 2023-24 season without a club.

With Real Madrid, he became a EuroLeague champion in 2018. Thompkins holds career averages of 9.2 points and 4.2 rebounds for 9.4 PIR in the EuroLeague.
