The Oklahoma City Thunder are finalizing a trade that would send guard Tre Mann and forward Davis Bertans to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for Gordon Hayward, as reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Hayward, who signed a four-year, $120 million deal with the Boston Celtics on November 29, 2020, was later traded to the Hornets along with 2023 and 2024 second-round draft picks in exchange for a conditional 2022 second-round draft pick.

During his time with the Hornets, Hayward faced challenges with injuries, managing to play 50 games per season once in the 2022-23 campaign. In the current season, he has posted averages of 14.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.6 assists.

On the other hand, both Mann and Bertans have seen limited playing time with the OKC this season. Mann has contributed 3.8 points per game, while Bertans has recorded 2.9 points per contest.
