In his 51 NBA games with Toronto, he has maintained averages of 13.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
This move marks Schroder's seventh NBA team, previously playing for the Atlanta Hawks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, Houston Rockets, and Raptors.
On the other side of the trade, Dinwiddie is departing from the Brooklyn Nets after a one-year stint. His return to the Nets occurred on February 6, 2023, as part of a trade deal involving Dorian Finney-Smith, an unprotected 2029 first-round pick, and second-round picks in 2027 and 2029, in exchange for Kyrie Irving and Markieff Morris.
In the current season, Dinwiddie has averaged 12.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists over 48 matches.
For his part, Young has recorded 5.0 points and 3.3 boards on average.
