In exchange, the Nets are getting three second-round picks and cash considerations. Additionally, the Suns are acquiring David Roddy from the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for a pick swap, Shams adds.
The Suns are sending Yuta Watanabe, Keita Bates-Diop, Jordan Goodwin, and Chimezie Metu to the Grizzlies as well.
After the move, the Suns now have two open roster spots to pursue players from the buyout markets, the renowned journalist reports.
The 30-year-old O'Neale has been averaging 7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game this season. Meanwhile, Roddy, a 23rd pick in the 2022 draft, is registering 8.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
