According to the same report, Lowry is set to ink a $2.8 million deal with the Sixers upon clearing waivers in the upcoming days.

A six-time All-Star guard, Lowry has harbored a longstanding desire to play for his hometown 76ers. The Cardinal Dougherty High School and Villanova University alumnus will now have the opportunity to play alongside his former coach, Nick Nurse.

Lowry had recently joined the Hornets from the Miami Heat as part of the Terry Rozier trade last month.
