In a 22-minute appearance, Simmons finished with a season-high 13 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.
"Feeling better. It takes time. It's one of those things where it's just up and down each day," Simmons said. "But I'm just staying with it. The storm doesn't last forever. I'm gonna get back to where I was. So, just staying on it. And each day is a day to get better."
The Australian player had faced a nearly three-month hiatus due to a back injury earlier in the season.
Simmons has been averaging 7.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game this season.
