Kevin Garnett, a former player in the NBA who has achieved "legend" status, argues that the Los Angeles Lakers cannot be considered as title contenders.

"They're not in the category. They're not a contender, bro. They're not better than the first four f*cking teams," Kevin Garnett said on KG CERTIFIED.

He then used a rather vulgar comparison to explain how the Lakers were simply not good enough to win the title this year.

"Look, shawty came in here. Got her hair done, got her nails done, got her feet done... She came in the club. She thought she was cute, 'Man, I feel like I'm a solid 8.' She came in here, and it was 9s and 12s in here," the Hall of Famer stated, noting his perceived discrepancy between the Lakers and stronger teams in the NBA.

"I'm going to sit in here, though. I'm in here, I'm in the party. Nobody's talking to me, but I am in the party... That's the Lakers," he further strengthened his comparison.

On the team's driving force, LeBron James, Garnett had the following to say.

"You don't get these years back. You know what? You're going to look up, and two years are going to be gone, then what?" Garnett continued before commenting on the Lakers making it to the Conference Finals in the 2022-23 season. "That was a magical run. Can you do that every year?"

This season, the Los Angeles Lakers have a record of 28-26, and they currently sit in the 9th place in the Western Conference.
